First I would like to thank Dorothy for very professional service. Dorothy is very professional, kind and helpful. We really liked Buckingham place, it is brand new apartments with gym and swimming pool, bbq area and theater. Indoor and outdoor parking is amazing! Balcony, all new appliances and much more! Also multiple activity rooms, conference room and much more.

It’s our second year in the Buckingham place apartments, the place we call home! First thanks a lot Kanisha for helping us with transferring to bigger apartment, she made this process very easy and comfortable! And Also wanted to say thanks to all the Buckingham place staff, for providing high quality service for your tenants.
Friendly professional staff, fresh and modern apartments, and plenty of new amenities, those are the main things why we’ve chosen to stay here in the Buckingham Place.
I signed a lease with Buckingham in February 2023 and I am counting down the days I have left here (7 days as of today). The management team is totally incompetent. They been through at least three managers in the past year. I can't express the level of frustration living here. There are many safety issues (zero communication), payment discrepancies, and issues of false lease violations. Save yourself from the unnecessary stress. Pay a little extra and move to one of the newer apartment buildings if you want to stay near downtown Des Plaines. To note, when I signed the lease they gave us credit for writing a positive Google review. Please keep that in mind when reviewing the other reviews submitted.
I moved here in September and it’s been absolutely wonderful. Dorothy was wonderful with the lease setup and was incredibly professional and kind. The rest of the Buckingham staff does a great job with maintaining the building and putting on awesome resident events. The building is stunning and the amenities are the best. The area is quiet, close to the Metra, downtown Des Plaines and many other nearby suburbs. Moving to Buckingham was the best decision for me. It feels like home.
Probably the worst location to move in with kids.
Don’t read those reviews because they pay $100 for a good one when you move in. After living here 6 month I’m changing mine to a 1 star as zero doesn’t exist! …

I toured the complex about a month ago with Dorothy and she was extremely friendly and helpful. She was very open to sharing her experience living at Buckingham Place and answering any questions that I had. The property is well maintained and the leasing staff seem well liked by the residents. There is plenty of visitor parking and the complex is located in a residential area very close to public transport.
Everyone who works at Buckingham Place Apartments makes the process of finding an apartment so easy going and smooth. Quenton and Dorothy especially are so helpful. The tour, application process, and overall communication was a great experience! Can't wait for move in!
